So what's with this weird logo with the two trees? Well, we'll give you a hint...it doesn't mean you've happened upon a tree farm, nor does it have anything to do with secret societies or satanic rituals (in case you were wondering).
Actually, the Twin Pines have long been associated with the Coop Movement. When you see this symbol displayed, it's a likely indicator that you're dealing with a cooperative venture. Well . . . except for the Twin Pines Motel on Route 79, just 6 miles north of Coutersburg Falls, featuring in-room cable TV. They had no idea what we were talking about when we drove in, all excited about finding a coop-run motel.
