Flatbush Food Coop offers a wide selection of milk, including organic varieties in half-gallon cartons.
We also carry a line of delicious non-homogenized milk from a small rBST-free Pennsylvania dairy who delivers to us in glass bottles just like the milkman used to bring! Take your pick of whole, lowfat, skim and/or chocolate!
We also carry fresh goat's milk in several varieties and kefir. And for those of you allergic to or avoiding dairy, not a problem: we have a large selection of soy, rice and amazake "milk" beverages in all your favorite varieties. Many of these products are organic.
Cheese
The Coop has a wide selection of cheeses, including vegetable-rennet cheeses, rennetless cheeses, raw milk, low-fat (up to 75%-reduced), and goat's milk cheese. And for our vegan shoppers we stock a large offering of organic soy and other vegetable-based cheese alternatives.
